Stock Dash; decided to make use of the OEM cup holder cover/hole-
Recessed fuse panel 1/2" with nylon spacers in order to flip OBD-II connector to face down-
Now the ScanGauge can remain connected hidden neatly behind cover-
Ran cable behind dash; just long enough-
Modified cover to accept cable; I broke the first one so be very gentle-
Next I had a custom mounting bracket made to fit cover/hole-
16 gauge aluminum with zinc phosphate coating-
Secured with two short screws/nuts-
Feed screws up through holes made in cover and tighten-
No drilling/hacking of interior trim required-
Designed not to impede tabs for future removal-
Squared off drill hole with knife to fit cable-
Cover/Bracket installed-
Just enough clearance to still operate CD player-
"OCD" clean permanent mount which is easily reverted back to stock-
